Medium secure services
Our medium secure service is Northside House (NR7 0HT). It's in the heart of Thorpe St-Andrews just up the road from the Bannatyne health club.
We're made up of three male wards - an acute admissions ward (Catton) , a rehabilitation ward (Drayton) and a low secure ward (Blakeney). We have a gym, a workshop, a health wing for our visiting primary care team, and a service-user run shop. Our team includes doctors, nurses, psychologists, clinical support workers (CSWs), our security team and occupational therapists.
Our mediums secure service interfaces with the Ministry of Justice, prisons (including our local remand prison - HMP Norwich), the courts and the Norfolk and Norwich University hospital.
We are a male-only service. Our female service users are on our bespoke blended female unit (Whitlingham ward) on the Hellesdon Hospital site (NR6 5BE)
